Lacey's first pool party

Our neighbor's son had a pool party for his birthday. We took Lacey. She seemed to enjoy the water. The swimsuit Heidi bought her was too cute.

2 months doctor's appointment (8/23/07)

I can't believe that Lacey is already 2 months old. The past months have flown by way too fast. We went for her 2 month checkup. She weighed 14 pounds !!!! and is 24 inches long. she had to get 4 shots. One in each arm and one in each leg. I could not watch. I stood on the other side of the room. Cleve stood by her. When the doctor gave her the first shot, she looked up at Cleve like she was asking "what is going on and are you just going to stand there and watch?" When she let out the first cry, I started to cry. It broke my heart to hear her cry and see her huge alligator tears.

Baptism - August 19th

Future LSU fan?

Lacey has a couple of cute LSU outfits (but mom has some Florida outfits ordered). Only time will tell if she turns out to be an LSU fan of an UF fan.

I love to see Lacey smile. Sometimes all I have to so is look at her and she smiles, then again, sometimes she cries when I look at her :)

So Peaceful

Lacey likes to fool everyone. She is so quite when others are around but wait until 3am and she loves to sing :) She has started sleeping longer which is so wonderful. She is still trying to figure out what to do when she is awake during the day. She is use to eating when she was awake but she will eat and be full but still awake. Then she cries. I can't wait until she is old enough to play with me.

Our first walk

Lacey loves going for a walk through the neighborhood. Normally she is awake and appears to be looking around. We have to go for our walks before 7am because it is so hot. I can't wait for the weather to get cooler.

July 3rd

My Big Brother

The first night home, Cody held Lacey all evening long. He did not want to go to bed. He stayed up and held her until he fell asleep in the rocking chair.
